The collaborative work of Derek Marshall and David Little has a substantial history in the lighting world. Derek Marshall has been a designer and manufacturer of creative decorative lighting starting in the 1980s. David Little has been an acclaimed black smith for many years specializing in iron work with botanical themes. They are both juried members of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, the oldest such organization in the country. They have collaborated for many years in such projects as the executive boxes for the Wild Hockey arena (now the Excel Energy Center) in Minneapolis, the Ferrari-Carano winery in Healdsburg, California and private clubs and residences around the United States.
These sconces, forged from iron and art glass, are all ADA compliant and UL listed for damp location. Delivery times generally run for four to eight weeks, but call for more details. We can vary the art glass used, but we like the figured white glass or the medium amber. However, you have the choice of all the art glass we offer. The bronze grapes and pine cones are cast in solid bronze and welded to the iron sconce. We show the narrow Grape Leaves with the addition of a copper leaf applied to the leaves. Such customization is available on any of the iron sconces. Other customization is always possible. Contact us for more details.
